The Goal This young couple bought in Carmel to raise their kids, and the house came with a list: several rooms, all original to the nineties. When the numbers came back higher than they wanted to commit to at once, we gave them honest advice. Don't spread the budget thin across every room. Pick the one you use most, do it right, and come back for the rest when you're ready. They picked the kitchen.

What We Built The full treatment. All new cabinetry and a complete appliance package, keeping only the newer refrigerator because replacing it just to match isn't how we spend our clients' money. We enlarged the window and let real daylight into a kitchen that had been living without it. A second sink that never earned its footprint came out, and the plumbing rework bought back counter and cabinet space where it counts. At the range, our carpenter built custom wall paneling that frames the cook area and gives the heart of the kitchen real architecture.

The Result One room, done completely, with nothing to revisit. More light, more counter space, and a kitchen this family gets to enjoy every single day while the rest of the list waits its turn. Finished in April 2026, permitted and inspected.
